Francois has over 17 years of experience in commercial and contract management, contractual claims preparation and settlement of final accounts. He is a qualified Quantity Surveyor in possession of MSc and BSc degrees in Quantity Surveying and master’s in Construction Law. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law Australia, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a RICS Registered Expert Witness.
He has managed several technically challenging projects and delivered strategic dispute resolution advice, claim preparation and defence, and commercial and contract management services for owner-operators, employers and contractors on building, infrastructure and resources projects in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Australia, Azerbaijan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Japan and South Africa. His experiences and abilities to manage and successfully conclude complex and large value accounts, have enabled Francois to become a specialist in contractual claims for time and cost, negotiation and commercial and contract management.
Francois has worked with various forms of contracts and have a diverse range of software skills. His portfolio of experience includes several high value, complex and prestigious projects, including airports, shopping malls, high-rise developments, residential developments, infrastructure, oil & gas, mining, and Australia Ministry of Defence projects.
