Niamh specializes in delay, disruption, productivity analysis, project and contract management from bid to project completion. She also provides risk monitoring and project management services for ongoing projects to prevent or limit delay and/or commercial exposure. In recent years Niamh was a scheduling and productivity lecturer for the Osgoode School of Construction Law Certificate Program and a guest lecturer at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

She was the Canadian Prairies representative for the Institution of Civil Engineers and a member of its Americas Committee. Niamh is currently the Membership Board Member for the Society of Construction Law North America.
