Ray started his career in the construction industry at the coalface qualifying as an electrician and then commissioning engineer on complex process treatment plants from which he has advanced gaining experience in multiple Sectors including M&E, Civil Engineering, Building, Water, Rail, Power and Energy. All this experience he applies to his role as Expert Witness in scheduling and analysis of delay on projects in the UK, Europe and Internationally.

Ray’s engineering background and experience give him a unique insight into projects of many kinds and his focus on detail facilitates his forensic investigation and analytical abilities. Ray is also known for his ability to distil complex issues into an easily understood analysis and expert report.

Ray has been instructed on projects under the JCT, FIDIC and NEC forms of contract and presented and critiqued the various techniques of delay analysis utilising scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project.
