Mr. Mick Cahill is a Chartered Construction Manager with over 35 years experience in the construction industry. In the early part of his career, Mr. Cahill has held various site management roles from site engineer to project manager. He has also held roles in pre-construction and design management. For the last 16 years Mr. Cahill has specialised in planning, project controls and the analysis of delay in relation to large and complex projects. He has experience as an in-house planning analyst for a major UK contractor and provided delay and planning expertise across the construction and infrastructure businesses. Mr. Cahill has also undertaken various non-contentious commissions including project monitoring, programme audit, design, the production of procurement and construction programmes, the development of planning systems and the provision of strategic advice on the most appropriate approach to delay analysis.
