Director, Expert Witness (Delay)

Mr. Stuart McIvor is a Planning and Delay Expert who specialises in delay analysis and the management of claims and planning services on major construction projects throughout the United Kingdom, Middle East and Oceania. Mr. McIvor has worked for major international contractors and consultancy firms on a wide range of projects. His site planning experience includes commercial buildings, schools, defence, rail and metro stations, marine ports, airports, oil and gas facilities, sports stadiums, highways and bridges. He draws on his strong planning background to both assist and advise clients on matters of delay to construction and engineering projects. He also provides advice on the preparation of master programmes, associated updates and reviews, the management of time risks and extension of time assessments.

Mr. McIvor assists clients by providing expert advice; independent professional opinion; developing efficient and practical solutions; providing robust delay analysis; and presenting conclusions in a clear, concise and objective matter which can be relied upon by the courts, corporations, or tribunals to navigate through and decide on difficult matters. He is an appointed delay expert who has recently testified in Paris on an ICC Arbitration (October 2021).

Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (LETAPAEWE) accredited at Masters/BTEC Level 7 by Edexcel, UK (2020)
