CCi, a global leader in integrated delay, quantum and technical expert solutions to the insurance and construction industries, is pleased to announce the transfer of Nick Barham from the United Kingdom to Singapore to lead its technical expert capabilities across Asia, effective 23 October 2023.
Nick brings over 20 years of experience as a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer in the construction industry, specialising in forensic engineering, dispute resolution, and expert witness work.
Throughout his career, Nick has played a pivotal role in the forensic examination and appraisal of various civil and building technical and contractual issues. His expertise are sought by a wide range of stakeholders, including lawyers, clients, consultants, contractors, insurers, and loss adjustors.
One of Nick’s key focus areas is dispute resolution, where he provides clear independent advice on complex technical problems. His advice is based on sound professional judgement, detailed analysis, an accurate appreciation of the technical issues, and first-hand understanding of the construction industry. He prepares CPR compliant reports on technical issues for submission in court proceedings and exchange in adjudication and arbitration hearings, and he participates in mediation, settlement negotiations, and expert discussions, acting on behalf of claimants, defendants, and as a single joint expert.
I am pleased to welcome Nick Barham to the Singapore team in his new role as Head of Technical Expert Services - Asia. Nick will spearhead the expansion of our technical engineering services to support our insurance and construction clients globally and locally.

Nick will oversee all activities relating to the provision of technical expert services, ensuring the highest standard of support for our clients in the region. He will continue to support his existing UK-based clients and be fully available to take on new and manage current commissions. His arrival in Singapore marks a significant milestone in our continued commitment to growth and providing unrivalled expertise and excellence to our clients across Asia.
