Message from Sinead Waldron, Group Head of Human Resources

Akif is an experienced quantum and contracts professional with 8 years’ experience working on major international building and civil engineering projects in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Middle East. He achieved a First Class Honours degree in Quantity Surveying and is currently studying toward his Bachelor of Jurisprudence in Law. 

Akif offers the CCi’s team expertise in dispute resolution through the preparation and defence of notices of contractual claims, submission of interim and detailed particulars under public and private forms of contract, for extensions of time, prolongation, acceleration and disruption claims, on behalf of contractors, subcontractors and employers.  He has gained valuable experience working for claims consultancies and contractors and has specialised in Claims for over 5 years.

Alan is a skilled IT Support Engineer who brings to the CCi team a perfect blend of advanced technical acumen and client facing skills to make a positive impact on CCi’s IT infrastructure. Alan is a Microsoft Certified Professional with extensive experience in successfully managing IT infrastructure within the professional services environment.  He will provide helpdesk support to CCi’s expanding operations across the Middle East and Asia and provide further support for the integration of Rimkus’ systems. Alan has excellent customer service skills and enjoys troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.  Alan has joined CCi Rimkus to develop his corporate experience and transition from providing reactive to proactive IT solutions. 

Charles joins the Dubai team as a IT Help Desk Technician. He will provide helpdesk support to CCi’s expanding operations across the Middle East and Asia and provide further support to CCi’s integration into Rimkus’ systems.  Charles achieved a bachelor degree in Information Technology and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate.

Charles offers the CCi Rimkus team 8 years’ experience as IT Managed service support provider in various sectors such as consultancy and law firms, healthcare, education, logistics, construction, oil and gas and financial services globally. Charles has extensive experience in handling customer relations, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, and explaining complex issues in simple terms.

David joins CCi’s Perth team as a Senior Consultant specialising in Quantum claims.  David will work with the CCi team offering commercial and claims advice to asset owners and contractors across Western Australia. He offers over 15 years of experience working on a broad range of building and engineering projects across the UK and Australia. 

David is a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor who has built his career working for Tier 1 & 2 Contractors on major infrastructure projects such as North East Link ($200m) and Forrestfield Airport Link ($1.5b). He has worked closely with the project teams and lawyers to draft and submit dispute letters and has supported with adjudication claims. David’s long-term goal is to develop further in claims consulting and dispute resolution. He plans to undertake his RICS – Expert Witness course in 2023. 

Emma is CCi’s APAC Region’s Finance Manager and the newest member of the regional leadership team.  She will combine the Australian, New Zealand and Singaporean financial operations as one region and work closely with CCi’s Finance Director and Regional Managing Directors to ensure the region has streamlined reporting and financial processes and build a regional finance function to service CCi’s growing APAC team.

Emma is a personable and capable Finance Manager with over 10 years’ experience working for construction management firms and architectural practices. Emma initially started her career providing bookkeeping services to a wide variety of businesses.  During this period, Emma successfully honed her leadership skills and flair for working with growing businesses and devising innovative process changes to best equip teams for growth.

Emma has helped businesses improve their reporting and forecasting and established tighter controls systems.  Emma excels at implementing new processes in expanding companies, project accounting, and company compliance. Emma is currently completing her MBA and is interested in moving deeper into business strategy and honing her leadership skills.

Irem joins the Dubai team as a Delay Analyst supporting CCi’s team of Experts.  She offers 19 years’ experience working in the Middle East, Europe and North America. Her exposure covers a wide range of major projects and industry sectors including airports, skyscrapers, convention centres, urban regeneration, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, utilities, residential and commercial buildings, and hotels and leisure. Irem holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and Master of Laws degree in Construction Law and Arbitration.   

Irem has just completed a role supporting the DAB on the Dubai Expo project, she enjoyed working closely with the client’s construction team and managing a range of claims.  Irem has joined CCi to develop her career as an Expert Witness and work with some excellent mentors. 

Mari joins the Horsham team as an Assistant Accountant supporting CCi’s UK business and the Head Office team.  Mari will assist with bookkeeping and treasury tasks for the UK .

Mari is a professionally qualified accountant with over 6 years of industry experience. She brings with her experience working with a number of differing businesses and their accounting needs, particularly SME consultancies.

Michael Witchell

Michael joins the Horsham team as a Finance Project Manager. He is a senior business partner capable of providing high level operational and strategic support to CCi’s Finance Director including leading change management and  integration projects. 

Michael is a qualified Management Accountant with 10 years’ experience in the professional services sector. He offers CCi valuable financial and commercial experience, including supporting businesses with new acquisitions and managing team integrations including implementing new finance software. Michael is a senior business partner who is adept at board reporting. In his last role, Michael led a finance team at a high growth fintech firm and has experience raising new capital and scaling up through private equity investment. 

Rahul joins the London team as a Service Desk Technician servicing CCi’s network of UK offices.  Rahul is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer specialising in Server Infrastructure and CCNA. He is also a member of British Computer Society and the Chartered Institute of IT. Rahul offers the CCi Rimkus team 11 years’ experience working with global companies that operate in technology, energy and defence sectors.

Rahul has successfully rolled out new software and optimised IT systems. He enjoys engaging with the business and  truly understanding customer needs. His partnering approach will add great value to the CCi Rimkus team.

Shraddha Verma

Shraddha joins the Sydney team as a IT Helpdesk Technician servicing all of CCi’s Asia Pacific offices. Shraddha holds a bachelor of Information Technology and a masters of Information Technology. She is an experienced IT Support Engineer and Information Security Analyst with the perfect blend of technical and analytical skills, effective communication and problem-solving expertise.

Shraddha will add value to CCi’s growing Asia Pacific team by assisting with the integration of Rimkus systems and software and offering front line support to our team of multi-disciplined consultants.
