Capital Consulting International (CCi), a global leader in integrated delay, quantum and technical expert solutions to the insurance and construction industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stuart Baird as Vice President of Business Development.
Stuart will hold an international role and will primarily focus on the expansion of CCi’s client base across Europe, America, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Stuart was previously the Managing Director for CCi in the Middle East and Asia regions and formed part of the senior leadership team that established offices and grew our operations in key countries including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia.
Prior to joining CCI, Stuart worked with leading consultancy firms providing quantity surveying, contract management and dispute resolution services to a variety of clients including government ministries, project owners and major international contractors. He has worked on many iconic projects throughout Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific covering a range of sectors including infrastructure, industrial, transportation, energy, utilities, and commercial buildings.
Stuart brings a substantial network of client contacts and relationships built up over 22 years working in the construction industry. He holds an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration, an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance, a B-Tech in Expert Evidence, and a Diploma in Construction Management. Stuart is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
