CCi, a Rimkus Company, is a proud Gold sponsor of this year’s Asian Claims Convention (ACC24) in Kuala Lumpur that brings together professionals from the insurance industry across the Asia Pacific region.

This year’s theme is “Technologies Driving Globalisation in Claims” which will see speakers and panels discussing topics such as risks in renewable energy, the future direction for claims, and digitalisation in claims, among others.

CCi Director and Head of Technical Services, Asia, Nick Barham will be presenting on Tunnels and Technologies from 12h00 – 12h30 and looks forward to sharing his insights and experience on the matter.

Speakers

Nick Barham

Director and Head of Technical Expert Services, Asia

Mr. Nick Barham is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with over 20 years experience in the construction industry. He started his career at a multi-faceted design consultancy, before focussing on forensic engineering, dispute resolution and expert witness work, whilst also undertaking the design of new build and remedial schemes. He has been involved in the forensic examination and appraisal of a wide range of civil and building technical and contractual issues, and has advised lawyers, engineers, contractors and insurers.

Mr. Barham has prepared CPR compliant reports on technical issues for submission in court proceedings, as well as numerous reports for exchange in adjudication and arbitration hearings. He has acted as an Expert, attended Expert meetings and mediations, prepared joint statements, and given oral evidence in the Technology and Construction Court in the UK.
