Nick is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He started his career at a multi-faceted design consultancy, before focussing on forensic engineering, dispute resolution and expert witness work, whilst also undertaking the design of new build and remedial schemes.
Nick has been involved in the forensic examination and appraisal of a wide range of civil and building technical and contractual issues, and has advised lawyers, engineers, contractors and insurers. Nick has prepared CPR compliant reports on technical issues for submission in court proceedings, as well as numerous reports for exchange in adjudication and arbitration hearings. He has acted as an Expert, attended Expert meetings and mediations and prepared joint statements. Nick is our lead civil and structural engineer.
