Mr. Simon Hay is an experienced Chartered Architect and Expert Witness. He has 40 years experience in the construction industry. Projects constructed include HQ office buildings, schools, hospitals, retail, residential and industrial projects. Mr. Hay has been appointed on various disputes, producing CPR 35 reports focused on the performance of architects, contractors and the professional team. He has expertise in facade and fire compliance issues, cladding, and roofing. He led the UK brick industry as CEO of the BDA for some years. Mr. Hay is an experienced expert witness, having been instructed in over 100 disputes on a range of issues.
