Major construction project experience from feasibility design, detailed design, pre-site and site construction planning experience, primarily in the water infrastructure, building (commercial, government and private), rail, air transport and renewable energy (wind farms onshore and offshore) sectors. I have also some experience of Sports Stadia and the Oil and Gas (inc. FPSO) sector both in the UK and internationally.
With experience as a Project planner I have been instructed in respect of formal dispute resolution proceedings acting as an independent expert on a number of occasions (under CPR35) and have been instrumental in assisting the parties and their advisors in the resolution in a number of mediations, adjudications and litigation. I have acted in the UK and overseas for both claimants and respondents.
I have working knowledge and understanding of all the major forms of Contract which include, JCT, NEC, ICE, ICC, FIDIC and other bespoke forms.
I have worked in and had project experience in many countries in Europe, the Middle East and Australia.
