Mr. James Caulfield has planning and project controls background, with a strong understanding of the planning of live projects and strategic portfolios. He is experienced in the defence and preparation of claims on behalf of both contractors and employers, having worked across multiple infrastructure projects including rail, ventilation and power supply at all stages of the project lifecycle. Mr. Caulfield has recently acted as an expert for a large infrastructure dispute, preparing an independent report and attending a mediation hearing. He has been key in supporting claimants in dispute, including adjudication and litigation, having to deliver both prospective and retrospective delay analysis to demonstrate cause and effect of critical delay. This has included compiling delay reports, building as-built programmes from contemporaneous data, time slice windows analysis and assisting working closely with site teams to maximise entitlement.
