Ms. Helen Turner has over 30 years experience in Contract Planning and Programming within the construction industry, originally as a planner and Senior Planner for both developers and Contractors. In the last 15 years, Ms. Turner has specialised in claim and dispute resolution through preparation and defence as well as in the role of Expert. Particular strengths include acting as a troubleshooter to manage the completion of challenging projects, whilst setting EOT strategies to not only minimise delays but also to recognise entitlement under the Contract, and as a Contract Planner with the added value of programming with the aim of dispute avoidance, as well as producing and delivering bespoke planning related training courses.
Ms. Turner has extensive experience in claims preparation and defence and a proven ability to assist lawyers and counsel by explaining complex issues in a concise readable format. She has experience in adjudication and mediation and has been examined by council in adjudication. Ms. Turner has knowledge and understanding of planning and programming under different forms of contract which include, JCT, NEC, and bespoke forms. Ms. Turner’s experience crosses many sectors including Building, Highways, Health, Education, Residential, Leisure, Public Sector, Waste, Rail, and Civil Engineering.
