James has worked for consultant quantity surveyors, main contractors and sub-contractors, in numerous construction sectors. Since being first appointed as quantum expert in 2012, he has been appointed as expert in many construction sectors including, Energy, Manufacturing, Civil Engineering and Buildings sectors such as Residential, Retail, Commercial, Education, Transport, Hospitality etc.
James has advised clients and their legal teams on a wide variety of projects within the public and private sectors. This has involved undertaking detailed complex quantum analysis of claims, preparing estimates for his expert reports and preparing joint statements in expert meetings.
The breadth of James’s clients is varied and includes private developers, major insurance groups, contractors, major infrastructure joint ventures (JV), local authorities, design and management consultants and utility providers.
He has worked on projects based in many countries within Europe and the Middle East and provided expert services on projects including values from £1m to £1bn, which include complex multi-party disputes.
