A qualified Mechanical Engineer I have acted as the appointed expert and as assistant expert in planning matters in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Processes in the UK for claimants and respondents. I have experience of construction management, and project engineering on a number of M&E / process lead projects and on shore windfarm construction projects in the UK.

I have experience of project planning from tender through to commissioning of live projects but my recent experience in the last 13 years has been through forensic delay analysis for dispute resolution.

The expert work has involved forensic investigation of design through to construction delays on various types of construction project : mixed use development of commercial / residential building; high rise apartments; luxury fit out of private residence; structural steel construction and steel bridges; ground remediation work at former steelworks site; MEP replacement at Boots HQ; Building work at retirement complex; M&E services work at University Science Laboratory; Airport runway extension work; PUI works at Harbour; Water repumping station / CHP works; Highways construction delays; impact of flood event on building conversion; biomass / bulk handling process plant;

Major construction project experience: Water treatment and process treatment Infrastructure. Onshore Windfarm (civil & electrical works): planning, procurement, contract formation, change management, cost management. Have worked extensively with NEC forms and experience with FIDIC, JCT and Green book.

Detailed Knowledge of, Planning software particularly ASTA powerproject,

Experience in Commercial and Retail Property, Mechanical and Electrical Systems, Biomass Plants, Windfarm construction, Building works, Steel structure/bridges, Airport runway extension works.
