Mr. Martin Bedford is the 4D Planning Service Lead for CCi in the United Kingdom and holds over 10 years’ experience as a Planning Manager and the application of 4D planning techniques.
Since 2013, Mr. Bedford has worked on a range of high profile construction projects as a 4D planner, supporting projects in developing BIM level 2 standards, digital capabilities, and driving efficiency throughout the application of 4D processes.
Mr. Bedford has acted as an IT Project Manager and BIM Solutions Architect. During this time, he was involved in the procurement, negotiation, and maintenance of global partnerships with technology software suppliers. This included working closely with suppliers to identify potential opportunities to utilise innovation and new products to improve internal processes.
Mr. Bedford has been involved with a UK 4D industry working group to accelerate utilisation of emerging technologies within the industry, drive project innovation, and meet regularly with industry software leaders to develop functionality.
