Mr. Tim Haynes is a commercially driven, client focused commercial strategist, contractual adviser, project manager, and expert witness with extensive experience ranging across many industries including construction, infrastructure, health, rail, and petrochemical in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, gained with major building contractors and consultancies. He has given oral expert evidence in adjudication and arbitration proceedings and has been cross-examined in both delay and quantum matters.
Tim’s dispute resolution and avoidance experience includes the research, preparation, and assessment of claims, contract advice, and providing expert opinion on quantum, delay, and project management matters. His procurement management experience includes the drafting of contracts and contract amendments, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation, undertaking negotiations, and finalising contract awards in connection with a variety of procurement methods, including traditional design and construct, construction management, management contracting, and turnkey contracts.
Tim has a proven track record of building, developing, leading, and managing successful teams and has extensive training experience on procurement, claims avoidance, and dispute resolution.
