James is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and testifying quantum expert with over 25 years of experience gained in a wide variety of building and infrastructure projects across the globe. Over 20 of those years have been earned working within Tier 1 contracting organisations, before co-founding Aston Consult in 2016.
James combines his international major project and claims experience with his corporate experience to provide best practice commercial advisory services from project inception to final account. James regularly participates in professional institute assessment panels and has been acknowledged by the RICS for his work associated with the publication of the RICS Professional Guidance Note “Commercial Management of Construction”, 1st Edition 2016.
Recently being appointed as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators provides James with a detailed strategic understanding of the dispute process and the requirements that are essential in supporting or defending claims that are litigated or arbitrated.
