Mr. Martin Price is a Quantity Surveyor by profession, with over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, namely traditional, design & build and development contracts largely on the contractor side dealing with clients on the commercial and contractual matters as well as dealing with the domestic sub-contractors and suppliers. This gives Mr. Price a unique insight into the pricing strategies and techniques used by tenders in their submissions, as well as the knowledge of the building up of tender rates and risk registers for contingencies. He has been brought into frustrated projects to deal with their final accounts and claim preparation to establish entitlement for inclusion in the final accounts. He has experience in negotiating target cost projects and traditional measured tenders fully designed or with draft designs for lump sums.
