Double Deck Tunnel

A series of incidents concerning a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) with a diameter of 13.7m, were claimed to have caused delay to the critical path of the project. CCi was appointed as the independent delay analyst to objectively separate delay resulting from damage, from that attributable to defect rectification and general project delays. Utilising a collapsed as-built method of analysis, CCi successfully demonstrated that the TBM incidents had not actually impacted the project’s progress.

714MW Offshore Wind Farm

Supply delays relating to some of the turbine jackets were alleged to have resulted in a critical delay to the project.

Colombia

2400MW Hydro Power Plant

Failure of the Auxiliary Diversion Tunnel (ADT) and subsequent flooding of the underground power complex caused severe delay to the completion of this project, resulting in fundamental changes in the design.

Costa Rica

40Ha Container Terminal

Storm damage during the dredging and reclamation phase of the project resulted in the implementation of a suite of mitigation measures.

Oil Refinery

A catastrophic failure of a heat exchanger resulted in extensive damage. CCi prepared a detailed delay analysis to establish whether non-incident related works prolonged the overall period of disruption.
