Ahmed joins CCi’s Perth team as an Senior Associate Director specialising in Delay Analysis.  He holds a LLM and is a Registered Expert Witness with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. (MCIArb)   Ahmed offers CCi’s Insurance and Construction clients 20 years’ experience in planning, forensic delay / disruption analysis.  He has been involved in expert work for the past 2 years working on matters in Australia and the Middle East.  Ahmed is responsible for assessing EOT claims, providing independent delay analysis and expert delay / disruption reports for Arbitration.  

Ahmed has testified on matters related to technical, programming, and delay in front of the Audit Bureau, and commercial chambers and courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait.

Alex join’s CCi Australia’s newest team in Adelaide as an Associate Director.  Alex offers the team key experience and knowledge of the market having built his career and an Engineer and Commercial Advisor in South Australia.  Alex studied Civil and Structural Engineering and offers over 10 years’ experience in management, contract administration, project management and civil engineering. Alex has worked for  engineering contractors and specialist contractors on major projects.   contractors and is well connected in the South Australia market. One of Alex’s most recent projects was Commercial Lead on NBN’s roll out across South Australia for a major Contractor.  Alex was responsible for financial closeout, defect and compliance monitoring, dispute settlement for open items and finalisation of all claims. Alex will support South Australia’s Regional Director by developing CCi’s brand for delivering claims advisory, dispute resolution and commercial services across the region. 

Ben joins CCi’s team to work as a Commercial Manager and Advisor to tier one contractors and asset owners.  Ben is a UK trained Quantity Surveyor who offers 11 years’ experience in the UK and Australia. Ben is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) and a Chartered Civil Engineering Surveyor, (MCInstCES) he holds a Master’s in Construction & Quantity Surveying.    Since relocating to Sydney in 2016, Ben has worked with tier 1 engineering contractors on complex programs of works.  He offers 5 + years’ experience working on major infrastructure projects such as WestConnex M5, Sydney Metro – Line Wide and More Trains More Services. Ben has experience working on tender preparation and contract negotiations. He has also managing all post contract claims and the cost / budget control including head contact claims / variation on projects valued $250m.

Danish joins CCi’s Sydney team as an Associate Director focused on providing project controls services to major engineering programs.  Danish is a Planning & Project Controls Manager with 20 years’ experience in the UAE and Australia. He holds a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, a Masters in Technology Construction and has completed his LLM. Danish successfully held some key leadership roles as a Project Controls Manager including working with Al Futtaim across their  portfolio of project’s, valued up to US$422 million. Danish will work with CCi’s team of Project Controls Managers on one of Sydney’s major engineering programs.  CCi will also invest in Danish’s development as a Claims practitioner and look to build upon the delay analysis experience he garnered in the Middle East.

Faisal Abed

Faisal joins CCi’s Middle East’s new team based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Faisal will work as a Consultant specialising in Contract and Commercial Management, he will assist CCi’s Country Manager with the development of CCi’s brand with key investors and contractors in the region.  Faisal offers the team 2 years of experience working as a Contracts Administrator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  

He holds a Bachelor in Industrial engineering and is keen to hone his analytical skills and project experience. Faisal would like to develop his experience in Claims Consulting by working with CCi’s insurance and construction clients who are operating in the region. 

Syairazi re- joins CCi working with the Malaysia team as an Associate Director specialising in Delay Analysis.  Syairazi offers the team 17 years’ experience in planning engineering and delay analysis across Malaysia, India, Singapore, and Dubai. He has a comprehensive understanding of the full lifecycle of project management, project controls and monitoring. Razi is experienced in dispute resolution with strong exposure to delay related expert work, assisting in the preparation of expert reports for Arbitration. Razi holds a Bachelor degree in Construction Management and is a member of the Government Construction Board. Syairazi will assist CCi’s Delay Experts providing analysis across a number of matters across Asia.  Welcome back Syairazi!

Sophie Parrett
Group Head of Finance

Sophie joins CCi’s London HQ as Group Finance Director, she will lead the UK Finance team and overseas finance teams based in the Middle East and Asia Pacific.  Sophie’s career has included experience in the UK and overseas in industrial groups, multinational PLCs, VC backed companies and start-ups.  She has worked with many growing businesses in diverse sectors. With an emphasis on construction and professional services, she has supported profitable and sustainable growth through delivering effective management information, cash management and strong financial control.

Sophie has worked with executive teams and played a key role in strategic acquisitions across the globe and their subsequent integration.  Sophie’s strategic focus and vision will add value to CCi’s Finance team.  She will work closely with Rimkus Group’s CFO to ensure reporting and metrics are in place to assist the leadership as they expand throughout the globe.

Sri joins our Perth team as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 16 years of global experience in the Middle East and Australia. During his career, Sri has worked as a Senior Contracts Administrator/ Project Manager in various mining, structural steel, manufacturing, buildings, and a wide range of infrastructure projects. At CCi, Sri is work with a large lithium mining client based in Western Australia, providing quantity surveying and contract administration support.
