714MW Offshore Wind Farm

Supply delays relating to some of the turbine jackets were alleged to have resulted in a critical delay to the project. CCi was appointed to determine the true criticality of the delay event. Using a combination of ‘but for’ and windows-based time slice analysis, CCi identified significant levels of float and flexibility within the project’s scheduled sequence, which could not be determined through the claimant’s preferred delay methodology, and ultimately led to agreement that no critical delay would likely be experienced and that no claim would be presented.
