Capital Consulting International (CCi) promote James Funge and Simon Lowe to Managing Directors for the Asia Pacific region.
CCi has experienced strong growth throughout the Asia Pacific region and are further investing in the development and expansion of their expert teams across the region.
Originally opening the office in Singapore, the team has successfully capitalised on the world leading reputation of CCi in the insurance market and expanded into construction and engineering disputes.
To bolster CCi’s offering to insurance, construction, and engineering industry clients, Aston Consult was acquired at the end of 2021. The strategic acquisition of Aston Consult further strengthened CCi’s foothold in the Asia Pacific region with the addition of 5 offices and 40 quantum and delay specialists operating across Australia and New Zealand. CCi recently opened a new office in Kuala Lumpur and now has 60 people across Asia Pacific.
CCi’s continued investment in the Asia Pacific region involves the appointment of regional leaders who offer unrivalled expertise to our clients. CCi is delighted to announce the promotion of James Funge and Simon Lowe to Managing Directors for the region. James and Simon have successfully built CCi’s client base across Australia and New Zealand. Their track record for leading quantum and delay teams on complex construction and engineering disputes coupled with their knowledge and experience of the Singaporean market will bring great value to CCi’s clients.
James and Simon have spent a significant part of their careers working on mega projects for contractors in Singapore before specialising as dispute resolution consultancy and independent expert witness services from their base in Australia. James and Simon will work closely with CCi’s regional leaders in the insurance and construction sectors, to expand an integrated service offering across time, cost and technical disciplines.
James is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Adjudicator and Quantum Expert with over 26 years of experience gained in a wide variety of building and infrastructure projects across the globe. Over 20 of those years have been earned working within Tier 1 contracting organisations, before co-founding Aston Consult in 2016. CCi acquired Aston Consult in December 2021.
Simon is an Expert Witness and Determiner with over 32 years of international contract management and dispute resolution experience in large-scale civil engineering projects. Simon is appointed a Global Leader and National Leader (ANZ) by Who’s Who Legal, as a Construction Expert Witness. Simon’s main area of expertise is in the provision of Expert Witness Services on matters of quantum in formal dispute proceedings.
