Message from Sinead Waldron, Director of Human Resources

Arthur joins CCi’s Middle East leadership team as Director and Head of MEP Services for Middle East and APAC. He is a highly reputable Building Services Engineer with over 35 years’ experience within the design and construction industry, a broad knowledge of various building projects in both the private and public sector, including significant experience in the Middle East for Airport & Port development and infrastructure work. He also has experience in healthcare, commercial, education, leisure, and MOD / public sectors both in the UK and internationally, international work principally being in the Middle East. 

Arthur has been engaged in expert witness work for technical claims with respect to litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Claims have ranged in value from $1 million to in excess of $700 million. 

Ciaran joins CCi’s Perth team as an Associate Director.  He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor; he holds a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and Master of Laws degree in Construction Law and Arbitration.

Ciaran has spent 12 years’ working for a number of Contractors, Asset Owners and Consultants specialising in Claims and Expert work. He offers practical knowledge of construction which is complemented with excellent contract, commercial and communication skills. He offers CCi’s clients experience with claims negotiations, management of change, contract administration, measurement, quantification, and other related commercial and quantity surveying functions.

Diana De Lazo
Document Controller
Dubai, UAE

Diana joins our Dubai team as a Document Controller assisting our Experts organise data and provide key support as they review documentation.  Diana graduated with a bachelor degree in Secondary Education majoring in Mathematics.  She offers over fourteen years’ experience in the areas of office administration, document control, customer service and quality assurance. She is goal-driven with strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail and a high degree of effectiveness and efficiency. Diana will play a key role as a member of the Middle East Business Support team. 

Gary joins CCi’s technical expert services business as a Director.  He will work with CCi’s multi-disciplined technical experts to develop our service offering across the UK and Europe offering integrated services to our clients. 

Gary is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Building Services Engineers and offers over 30 years in building services design and project management.  He has provided expert advice, consulting and expert witness investigations on a wide range of buildings, including commercial, education, health care, public sector, residential and retail developments throughout the UK and the Middle East.  Gary has performed forensic investigations and authored reports as an Electrical Expert on circa 60 reports, ranging from personal injury and investigation and diagnosis of electrical faults to major adjudication and arbitration both in the UK and the UAE.

George joins CCi’s Dubai team as a Regional Director, he will focus on developing and leading our Abu Dhabi consulting team.  George is a technically and legally qualified Chartered Surveyor and Project Manager with 20 years’ experience project, commercial, contract and claims management.  He has spent the past 11 years specialising in Dispute Resolution and Claims Consulting building an excellent reputation with international contractors and lawyers. 

George holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management and master’s degrees in International Construction Law and International Construction Management. He offers CCi’s team exceptional delivery experience having worked throughout the Middle East, Africa and the UK.  George’s excellent technical knowledge, coupled with his consultative approach, will make him a great asset to the CCi Group.

Ively joins CCi’s Dubai team as Head of Business Support for Middle East and APAC.  She graduated with a first-class honours degree in Law and has spent over 15 years working for a variety of international corporations specialising in commercial, personnel management, project and office administration. 

Ively can successfully engage with a diverse set of people and lead culturally diverse teams with a focus on customer service and professionalising processes and systems.  She will play a crucial role in CCi’s Middle East leadership team as they expand across the region.

Khalil Arbu Arja
Senior Consultant - Quantum

Khalil joins CCi’s Dubai team as a Senior Consultant working on Quantum disputes.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, master’s degrees in Management and Marketing and Financial Engineering and Risk Management and an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration.  He offers 14 years working on international construction and engineering projects including the past 8 years specialising in dispute resolution

Khalil has prepared and defended contractual and commercial claims, he has investigated and provided advice concerning variations, design delays and deficiencies, late payments and finance, procurement delays, specification interpretation disputes and force majeure events.  In addition, Khalil has assisted in provided expert advice to insurance providers and loss adjusters

Martin joins CCi’s leadership team in the Middle East as Director and Head of Technical Expert Services for the Middle East and APAC.  He is an experienced Building Services Engineer (MEP) and Expert Witness.

Martin offers over 35 years’ global experience within the design and construction industry, with broad knowledge of various building projects in both the private and public sector. Martin has worked to many international standards including US and UK standards. For over 20 years, Martin has acted as an expert witness. He has provided technical and expert advice on MEP building services design from concept design to completion. Martin has worked with Delay Experts to advise on the integration of services within the overall construction works and has worked with Quantum Experts to advise on the more detailed aspects of MEP related quantum matters.

MaryJane Luistro
Business Support Executive

Mary joins CCi’s Dubai team as a Business Support Executive.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business Administration and offers over 20 years in business administration.  She has spent 14 years working with Dispute Resolution Consultants supporting teams and ensuring operations and processes are optimised.  Mary will play an important role as part of the business support team enabling CCi to expand and set up our team in Abu Dhabi.   

Melissa joins CCi’s London team as a Senior Consultant.  She is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 8 years construction industry experience in the UK and Asia.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Quantity Surveying.   

Melissa offers CCi’s UK team pre and post contract experience working for asset owners and Private Quantity Surveyors before moving into dispute resolution.  Melissa has claims experience across a variety of sectors and has moved deeper into work as a Dispute Resolution Consultant supporting a number of Quantum Experts, providing analysis and drafting sections of expert reports on large international disputes.

Mick joins CCi’s London team as an Associate Director specialising in Delay Analysis.  He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.  Mick holds a master’s degree in Construction Law and Arbitration and a post graduate certificate in Construction Management

Mick offers over 30 years of experience in the construction industry.  Starting his career as a Site Engineer and progressing to Project Manager, Mick has delivered a broad range of complex construction projects. For the last 16 years Mick has specialised in planning, project controls and delay analysis, he led delay analysis matters for main contractors before working with claims and dispute practices and supporting independent expert witnesses

Mohammad joins CCi’s Dubai team as Country Manager for the Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.  Mohammad graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Master of Law in Construction Law and Arbitration and a master’s certificate in Project Management.  He offers 10 years’ experience in commercial, contractual and claims advisory across infrastructure and construction projects.

Mohammad will lead CCi’s team of dispute resolution consultants and claims practitioners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  He will focus on offering forensic planning and delay analysis methods; production and defence of prolongation and disruption claims; and resolution of protracted disputes.

Rayan Awada
Associate Director

Rayan joins CCi’s Dubai team as an Associate Director working with our Technical Experts on MEP matters throughout the Middle East.  Rayan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has spent the past decade working with MEP consultancies delivering projects and leading business operations. 

Rayan has worked with legal teams and gained experience in claims and dispute resolution whilst working for engineering consultancies.  He has assisted lawyers developing case strategy and drafting technical reports.  Rayan joins CCi to move deeper into the field of Dispute Resolution and support our team of Experts.

Stuart joins CCi’s as Managing Director for the Middle East and Asia region.  As part of CCi’s leadership team, Stuart will focus on developing our Expert Services and Claims Consulting business across regions.  Stuart brings a wealth of international claims consulting and commercial advisory experience to CCi. 

Stuart holds Master of Law in Construction Law and Arbitration and a Master degree in Real Estate Investment Finance.  Stuart offers extensive project experience across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, aviation, rail, power, oil & gas, retail, hospitality and leisure.  He has built an excellent reputation providing commercial management, claims consultancy, development management, procurement, risk management, asset management and project management services to a broad selection of contractors and asset owners.
