Message from Sinead Waldron, Group Head of Human Resources

Adrian joins CCi’s Abu Dhabi team as a Director and Quantum Expert.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography, a master’s degree in quantity surveying and a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration. 

Adrian offers over 18 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Contract Management, Commercial Management and Claims, including 12 years working on disputes arising from major projects across the Middle East Region.  Adrian offers delivery experience on Oil and Gas, Infrastructure and Buildings.

Adrian joins CCi as Regional Director for Malaysia, marking CCi’s further expansion across the Asia region. Adrian has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration. 

Adrian has over 26 years construction industry experience in the United Kingdom, the Middle East and South-East Asia and has worked for several large contractors.

For over 17 years Adrian has prepared, defended, and assessed delay and quantum claims including delay analysis for a range of projects including roads and bridges, pipelines, tunnels, district cooling and wastewater treatment plants, transportation systems and upstream oil facilities.

Aubrey Abunda

Aubrey is a highly motivated, executive assistant with more than 15 years of experience providing senior management level support.

She is a self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and organisational abilities, and a proven history of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while supporting daily office operations. Aubrey will further strengthen CCi’s business support team based in Dubai. 

David joins CCi to lead a high performing team in the Middle East and Asia region.  David is a leading Quantum Expert, he is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Civil Engineering Surveyor with over 37 years of experience in the construction industry. He is master’s qualified from Kings College, London and named in Who’s Who Legal Construction: Expert Witnesses and Who’s Who Legal: Thought Leaders 2018 and 2019. 

David has been engaged by contractors, private and public sector employers, and various professional practices.  His main area of technical expertise is in evaluating contractual claims, covering subject matters such as prolongation, head office overheads and loss of profit claims.  He has been cross examined on measurement issues, valuation of work carried out, variations, prolongation and disruption. 

Francois joins the Dubai team to develop our Middle East business as a Regional Director.  He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, as well as a master’s degree in Construction Law. Francois is a certified RICS Expert Witness and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Francois offers over 17 years of experience managing technically challenging projects and delivered strategic dispute resolution advice, claim preparation and defence, and commercial and contract management services for owner-operators, employers and contractors on building, infrastructure and resources projects in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Australia, Azerbaijan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Africa.

Jess joins CCi as Executive Assistant to Managing Directors of APAC.  Jess has performed corporate administration roles previously and offers key support to our leadership team.  She is experienced in diary management, calendar coordination, as well as overseeing facilities management, supporting company acquisitions, and office relocations.

Julian joins the Middle East and Asia leadership team as a Managing Director.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, an LLB in Law and a master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration.

Julian is a specialist in contractual claims for time and cost, dispute resolution, and the successful conclusion of large value and/or complicated accounts on a wide variety of projects, employing various forms of contracts. He offers 15 years’ experience in claims management, contract risk assessment, commercial management, cost management, procurement, negotiation/amicable settlement, mediation, arbitration, prolongation and delay costs, escalation, project management, project controls, project monitoring and program management. He offers CCi’s clients key insights from supporting major EPC oil and gas projects in the Middle East, Asia and Europe, UK Ministry of Defence Projects, schools, offices, airports, independent water and power plants.

Kyran joins the Abu Dhabi team as a Senior Consultant, Delay.  He has a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying and Commercial Management and a master’s degree in Construction Project Management.

Kyran offers 10 years of Scheduling and Project Controls experience across multiple construction sectors internationally. He has extensive experience in Project Planning, Monitoring and Reporting, Delay Analysis Techniques, and preparation of Time related correspondence. Kyran will assist CCi’s Delay experts with the preparation and/or defence of Extension of Time claims, including Delay Analysis, Narrative Report writing and or presentations.

Lee joins CCi’s Manchester team as a Director and Quantum Expert.  He is a legally qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor holding a LLB in Law and a HNC in Quantity Surveying.

Lee offers 30 years’ experience delivering construction and engineering projects.  He specialises in dispute resolution final accounts and valuation issues ranging from disruption loss and/or expense to claims for extensions of time.  Lee has acted for Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors as Referring and Responding party in Adjudications and has assisted in numerous Expert Witness commissions both UK and International. Has also been instructed by solicitors to act as Quantum Expert.

Marina joins CCi’s Auckland team as a Senior Consultant.  She offers over 16 years working on Construction projects across New Zealand the Middle East.  She has extensive experience cost management and procurement, gained while on working on a wide range of projects.

Marina has a national diploma in Construction (quantity surveying) and a bachelor’s degree in business (Accounting).  Marina is committed to further developing her commercial and contractual experience and working with CCi’s construction and insurance clients. 

Naomi joins CCi’s HQ Finance team as an Assistant Management Accountant.  She offers 4 years of experience working as an Accounts Assistant and Management Accountant. 

Naomi is currently completing her final year of study towards her certificate level qualification with CIMA.  Naomi will work in a varied finance role for the business, which will provide practical application as she continues her professional studies.

Ozan joins the Dubai team as a Delay Analyst.  He offers over nine years of experience in the construction industry, including four years in Dubai. Ozan has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is currently studying towards a master of Laws degree in Construction Law and Arbitration and a master of Science in Computer Science with Data Analytics. 

Ozan’s project experience includes assignments in residential & mixed-use developments, aviation projects and rotational village projects. Working in both planning and cost control departments helped him understand the concept of project control.

Ryan is a recent graduate, having completed a bachelor’s degree in Physics with First Class Honours in 2021.

Ryan has a specific focus in the creation of novel quantitative analysis techniques assessing the statistical likelihood of delay arising within a project, while also quantifying the overall validity and robustness of project schedules.

Scott joins the Brisbane team as a Quantum Claims Consultant and Manager.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying and a Mater of Laws degree in Construction Law and Arbitration. 

Scott offers CCi over 20 years’ experience in Contracts Management, Claims, Commercial Advisory, & Quantity Surveying, in Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, Indonesia, Iraq, UAE, UK, Kazakhstan and Australia. He has substantial experience on high value projects in heavy civils and resources. 

Stuart joins the Dubai team as a Director and Delay Expert.  He has a first-class honours in Construction Management and an accredited member of the Academy of Experts.

Stuart is an appointed Delay Expert who offers over 15 years’ experience in delay analysis and the management of claims and planning services on major construction projects throughout the United Kingdom, Middle East and Oceania. Stuart’s site planning experience includes commercial buildings, schools, defence, rail & metro stations, marine ports, airports, oil and gas facilities, sports stadiums, highways and bridges. Stuart assists clients by providing expert advice; independent professional opinion; developing efficient and practical solutions; providing robust delay analysis; relied upon by the courts.

Tanveer joins the Melbourne team as an Assocviate Director specialing in Planning and Project Controls.  He has a bachelor’s degree with first class distinction in Civil Engineering, a master’s degree in Constuction Management and a graduate diploma in Project Management.

Tanveer offers CCi’s clients over 20 years’ experience Australia, Middle East and India working on a range of commercial, hospital and residential projects. Tanveer spent 8 years as a Delay Analyst supporting delay experts, and 5 years in the Middle East on a major hospital JV project conducting delay analysis for the arbitration proceeding in coordination with delay experts and lawyers. Tanveer is working closely with CCi’s key clients PMO helping to delivering a multi-billion-dollar programme of capital works.
